Weekly Quote: Sputnik Sweetheart by Haruki Murakami

“I have this strange feeling that I’m not myself anymore. It’s hard to put into words, but I guess it’s like I was fast asleep, and someone came, disassembled me, and hurriedly put me back together again. That sort of feeling.”

Reflection: Romantic love can make you feel not yourself. It could make you feel disassembled because of a broken heart. Also, a feeling of completeness is felt when one is loved. Love is a very destructive feeling. Sometimes, we don’t know what we feel. Is it completeness or brokenness? Never the less, love still can make us loose control of our thoughts and self.
