Bloomsbury’s 20th Anniversary cover edition for Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone

Note pictures are from: The Rowling Library

For the 20th Anniversary of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, Bloomsbury unveiled its new cover design. The new design is gorgeous. Hardback editions have the  four house logos (Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw) with their respective colours while having a background of black. On the other hand, Paperbacks would have the colourful background and pages (based on the house colour) with the house emblems printed black.

 ( Hardbound Edition)

(Paperback Edition)

I’m glad that Bloomsbury is releasing this kind of editions. I need to by a new Harry Potter collection because mine looks so battered.I think this would be the best edition for me. (praying that the Philippines would be supplied with these awesome editions) However, I don’t know what to pick, will it be the Paperback or Hardbound ones (they are really drool worthy). I am really in love with them. Imagine looking at them side by side on the bookshelf.. wow, the hardbound would look so chic and elegant with the  scarf patterns on its pages while the paperback would look colourful and fun. I think my decision would be based on the price and if the hardback edition’s end papers are awesome.

So here is another personal blurb,
Hope everyone is enjoying life,
God bless!
