A stunning and suspenseful new landscape emerges in the thrilling Dark-Hunter world—a world where nothing will ever be the same again. . .Fang Kattalakis isn’t just a wolf. He is the brother of two of the most powerful members of the Omegrion: the ruling council that enforces the laws of the Were-Hunters. And when war erupts among the lycanthropes, sides must be chosen. Enemies are forced into shaky alliances. And when the woman Fang loves is accused of betraying her people, her only hope is that Fang believes in her. Yet in order to save her, Fang must break the law of his people and the faith of his brothers. That breech could very well spell the end of both their races and change their world forever. The war is on and time is running out…

Bad Moon Rising is a combination of romance, bad ass, sass and sexy. I definitely love the main characters. Despite their differences, they bring out the best of each other. Fang is a very moody character and it takes someone as patient and understanding as Aimee to calm him. At first, they were attracted with each other but circumstances made them closer. Both characters treated their romantic feelings as a curse rather than a blessing. This is because bears and wolves don’t mix together. Also, their families won’t approve the relationship and other reasons don’t encourage the union. Despite them being fated , they still try to be friends. Deny as they might, both can’t help but fall in love with one another which makes things complicated.

Fang is a character which you would both love and hate. He is the kind of person who won’t show weakness unless it’s someone he can trust. In the story, he has been to a purgatory type of dimension where he battles demons in his human form (note: human form is his weakest form). He was able to get out of the dimension with the help of a deal and Aimee. The story incorporated family love, trust and loyalty which I appreciate very much. I love how both main characters think of their family more than themselves.

I gave the novel a 5 hearts rating because the story was a roller coaster ride of action, romance and emotions. It also had me want and expect more from the Dark hunter universe.

“No. I just know how much life goes unsaid and hidden. Everyone needs to know, just once, how much they mean to the people around them.”

“Inside us all are pieces of that which makes the negative.”
