After a tragic car accident, talented neurosurgeon Doctor Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) must put ego aside and learn the secrets of a hidden world of mysticism and alternate dimensions. Based in New York City’s Greenwich Village, Doctor Strange must act as an intermediary between the real world and what lies beyond, utilizing a vast array of metaphysical abilities and artifacts to protect the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

I am happy with this movie. It was very AWESOME. I liked Doctor Strange as a character. His imperfections made him interesting. I liked him because despite the impossibility of his circumstance, he did not give up on himself. As a movie, in my opinion, as to date it is one of the best movies in the Marvel Universe. It had a main character who ordinary people can connect to. Also, a lot of wise words were said in the movie that remind me of the more important stuff in life. I would also love to have a teacher like The Ancient One. She seemed so serene and patient yet deadly.Magic also made the whole story different from the other Marvel stories where most of the super heroes were either born with powers or are genetically enhanced. The special effects or CGI of the movie seemed very believable. I liked how everything would turn then collapse. It looked like a very thrilling roller coaster ride.

I haven’t read the comics for Doctor Strange thus I can’t compare it to the movie. I hope though that the sass of his character is also portrayed in the comics.  To conclude, I don’t have any problems with the movie. It was a FUN watch and I would gladly watch it again and again and again.

The Ancient One: Arrogance and fear still keep you from learning the simplest and most significant lesson of all.
Dr. Stephen Strange: Which is?
The Ancient One: It’s not about you.

Dr. Stephen Strange: [on magic] This doesn’t make any sense.
The Ancient One: Not everything does. Not everything has to.

Wong: Be careful which path you travel down, Strange. Stronger men than you have lost their way.
